Fairer Votes Matter results published and local tories say no and labour candidates sit on the fence

7 Days to Polling day and a brighter future: vote Lib Dems Suffolk Tories say no to Fairer Votes and Labour sits on the fence AGAIN! The Make Votes Matter campaign has now published the results of their survey of local candidate responses on PR and Fairer Voting in central and east Suffolk. Unsurprising the Tories want to keep the FPTP system for elections although the CSNI tory agrees that the current system is not representative. The Labour Party candidates however continue to live up to their Party's growing reputation for dithering and indecision. When it comes to the core issues; Brexit and Fair Voting it just cannot make a decision and get off the fence. The following 'results' cover the three local Suffolk constituencies in the area covered by the East Suffolk LD Party.
