Several people have asked us how they can find out which electoral division they live in. You will be given this information on your polling card or postal-vote confirmation card, of course. But you may also be interested to see how Suffolk Coastal is divided up into the areas that are represented by individuals elected to the County Council.

Suffolk is split into 63 electoral divisions, each represented on Suffolk County Council by one or more councillors. You can see a map of them on the County Council website at https://www.suffolk.gov.uk/assets/council-and-democracy/how-the-council-works/SCC-Electoral-Division-Ward-Parish-map.pdf or you can look up a table (organised by parish name) at https://www.suffolk.gov.uk/assets/council-and-democracy/councillors-and-elected-representatives/Parish-and-Towns-by-Electoral-Division-Number.pdf.

As you can see from these lists, there is a wide geographic spread in some of our electoral divisions due to the rural nature of much of Suffolk Coastal, while others are more urban and geographically condensed. Each of our electoral divisions is fielding a Liberal Democrat candidate in the election on 4th May.
