People's Vote Day of Action - Ipswich Street Stall
The People's Vote have called for an Action Day on Saturday 8th December & the Suffolk EU Alliance are in Ipswich doing our (cross party) bit to support remaining in the EU.
Last week, Theresa May said the country faces three choices: Her deal, no deal, or no Brexit. Even her own ex-Brexit Minister has said No Brexit is better than her deal! Now, with the first vote on the deal imminent in Parliament, we need to be out promoting "No Brexit" via a People's Vote. We've already seen independent economic forecasts which show that the government's deal will leave us poorer, with less money for our public services.
A recent poll showed Ipswich has swung from 'Leave' to 'Remain'. efforts, and those of the national campaigns, are paying off. But we mustn't let up on the pressure. To this end, Suffolk EU Alliance will join activists and supporters from the People's Vote campaign who are taking to the streets across the UK, in order to demand a People's Vote on the final Brexit deal. There will be events all over the country, with thousands of activists and supporters taking part in areas that voted both Remain and Leave.
So if you can spare half an hour, or an hour, to hand out our "Not Buying It!" leaflets, then please join us.
We're meeting at the bottom of Lloyd's Avenue by Debenhams. If this area is too busy we will be somewhere nearby on the main shopping street.
Location: Bottom of Lloyds Avenue, 2 Lloyds Avenue, Ipswich IP1 1BZ

Finally:
Stopping Brexit:
Have you contacted Thérèse Coffey, Dan Poulter or Peter Aldous about the 11 December Brexit vote?
Your Liberal Britain, a policy and activity group associated with the Liberal Democrats have recently been holding a series workshops encouraging constituents to lobby their MPs about Brexit, at surgeries or via email.
Have you already been involved in contacting your MP? They are a potential swing voter in the 11 December vote. We would encourage you to continue the effort this week and ask your friends to do likewise. Email them, phone them, or (best of all) attend their surgeries to tell them how much Brexit will impact you and your communities. They will have heard all the usual arguments before - they need to understand what it will mean locally to them and the people they represent. The three MPs serving in the East Suffolk Lib Dems area are:
Central Suffolk and North Ipswich
