EAST SUFFOLK CONTRIBUTES TO THE PARTY'S OVERALL SUCCESS IN 2018

21 Dec 2018

LIBERAL DEMOCRATS ARE WAY AHEAD IN THE 2018 BY ELECTIONS

Behind that headline figure we've actually:

  • Gained 26 seats

  • Successfully defended 18 seats

  • Sadly lost eight seats

East Suffolk Party are proud to have contributed to the Party's 18 overall net gains in 2018 with our outstanding win in Southwold & Reydon.

In a period of uncertainty, we feel that we can take a moment on the shortest day of the year to celebrate our electoral achievements and add a note of praise and appreciation to our four 2018 champions pictured below who have flown the flag for the Party in East Suffolk this year.

YOU'D MAKE A GOOD COUNCILLOR!

In May 2019 Liberal Democrat candidates will stand for election in 29 wards for the new East Suffolk District Council. The new Council will have 55 new Councillors and we want as many people who share our Liberal Democrat values of openness, fairness, transparency, a commitment to consult and sound efficient government to make a difference. You could be one of those candidates, willing to work for your local community. We need a strong Liberal Democrat voice and presence in the new Council Chamber. A one party monopoly is neither healthy or fully representative of the whole community.

Liberal Democrat Councillors are given support and training so why not find out more about becoming a candidate?contact@eastsuffolk-libdems.org.uk
