As well as a keynote speaker and an emergency motion yet to be announced, the packed agenda includes:

  • a Brexit plenary discussion, including Andrew Duff (former MEP and now visiting fellow to the European Policy Centre), Sarah Ludford (former MEP and now the Lib Dems' House of Lords spokesperson on Exiting the European Union) and Belinda Brooks Gordon (a representative for the East of England on the council of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe)
  • reports from Norman Lamb (House of Commons), Sarah Ludford (House of Lords), Jo Hayes and Tony Mason (East of England region), and Sally Symington (English Party Review)
  • policy motions on "campaigning in university towns" and "a carbon levy plus dividend policy to reduce CO2 and poverty"
