The Liberal Democrats are the only party fighting to keep Britain in Europe, and the only party who are truly open, tolerant and united.

Our membership is now at its highest level in over a decade. Not only did we have a surge in membership following the general election last year, but we have had 20,000 new members join us since the EU Referendum in June. 20,000 people who share our belief that we, as a country, belong in the European Union. 20,000 people who, like us, are open, tolerant and united and who, like us, want to build a United Kingdom that is open, tolerant and united.

The Conservative party and the Labour party are in internal disarray over policy, ideology and future plans. The Liberal Democrats are not. There has never been a better time to plant your stake in the ground and stand on the side of liberalism, rational thinking, evidence-based policies, and internationalism. The preamble to our constitution sums it up:

"The Liberal Democrats exist to build and safeguard a fair, free and open society, in which we seek to balance the fundamental values of liberty, equality and community, and in which no one shall be enslaved by poverty, ignorance or conformity."
