Candidates to be our next Liberal Democrat leader - East Region Hustings

19 Jul 2020

Ed Davey and Layla Moran are the two candidates to be our next Liberal Democrat leader.

Ballots will go out in a few weeks time - on Thursday 30th July.

The two candidates will now face questioning from members across the globe in a series of hustings that will test their skills and help you decide which one is the right candidate to lead our party. You can see all of the planned hustings here: www.libdems.org.uk/hustings

An exciting set of online hustings are coming, with many different topics and formats, covering all part of the country and a wide range of policy themes. The more we hear from the candidates put to the test, the better our choices will be.

The East of England online Hustings takes place on Sunday 19th July at 7pm as well as the many other excellent hustings that are all listed at www.libdems.org.uk/hustings

All of the hustings will be available to watch back later. We're also providing BSL translation for some of the hustings (this will be noted on the event) and a dial-in facility is available for those with poor or no internet access.
