Health Petition

All around we see the state of Suffolk's healthcare services deteriorating.
  • Suffolk Healthwatch have long raised concerns about staffing levels at the East of England Ambulance Service as well as the E-zec Medical took non-emergency patient transport services; a recent Care Quality Commission report (link to PDF here) said improvements were needed.
  • health visitors have been cut by 35% at Suffolk County Council, without any public consultation
  • Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust continues to fail young people with mental health problems last year they found more than 630 children and young people were waiting for treatment; that figure has now fallen but is still 462
  • Many rural GP surgeries are reporting significant problems recruiting new GPs, especially to partnership
New investment is needed to address the crisis in Suffolk's healthcare service.

I/we the undersigned call for significant improvements and new investment in Suffolk's healthcare system.

Thank you for your interest but we are no longer running this campaign.
